I was born, grew up, and still live in Richmond – a community that I love, where I raised four sons that were very active in sports, the Arts and other community activities and events. My husband, sons and myself enjoy weekends in our recreation cabin in the Chilliwack River Valley, and outside of the office I enjoy gardening, knitting, jewelry-making, sewing, bike riding and rowing my boat.

While studying and living at Simon Fraser University in the 1970s, I also managed the married residences on campus. In 1982 after successfully completing the Notary Public Preparatory course and passing the required examinations, I received my seal as a Notary Public in, and for, the Province of British Columbia.

Since then I have maintained a very busy Notary Office at the corner of No. 3 Road and Westminster Highway in downtown Richmond. Along with my six staff members, we attend to home sales, purchases and mortgages, affidavits, statutory declarations, certified copies of documents and the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney.

I am a member of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, an honorary member of the Richmond Sunrise Rotary Club and I have served on the board of the Richmond Gateway Theatre, the Canadian Cancer Society, and Richmond Youth Service Agency. I further support a multitude of youth sports and arts organizations as well as volunteer to assist the elderly.

After 29 years of running my Notary practice, I still love what I do.
